About Ahmed Shaikh

Ahmed Shaikh is an Estate Planning Attorney based in Orange County, California.   Ahmed also practices estate litigation, asset protection, business, and special needs planning.  He is the co-author of the only practice treatise on Islamic Estate Planning in the United States.  The American Bar Association published his book (written with Yaser Ali), “Estate Planning for the Muslim client” in 2019.   Ahmed is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has been licensed to practice law in California since 2000.

Ahmed has been a regular speaker and education organizer, having spoken at Estate Planning Attorney Conferences, Islamic Conferences and a range of other events. He has also served as the Chair (2018) of the Orange County Bar Association Section on Trusts and Estates and is a former member of the ISNA Executive Council, among other turns at service both professionally and within the Muslim community.  He is a graduate of San Diego State University and the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University, Bloomington.
