Boys, Girls and Islamic Inheritance

I’m not exactly sure if this is a question that really bothers too many people within the Muslim community.   In my own experience,  other issues I will cover seem to be bigger. I know it is a question that some people have and I have attempted to answer to the best of my ability.

Why is it that in the Islamic Rules of Inheritance, boys get different inheritance from girls?    It is not to be mean  or to describe superiority or anything like that. There is much more to it.   This is one of the more important issues of Islamic inheritance many people know about but few can explain.  Check out my audio here.
